Monuments : Flipper, Ada and Honey

Chapter 1 : Ada

當自然被私有化;

人類獨自向動物發展從屬關係;

屍體成為化石再塑成雕像;

飛寶、愛達與蜜糖;

When nature is privatised;

man alone develops a subordination to the animals;

The fossilization of corpses into statues;

Flipper, Ada, and Honey;

Chinese white dolphins were chosen as the mascot for Hong Kong's handover, even though they were considered taboo by fishermen. Frequent construction at sea has seen the dolphins continue to move their habitat from north to west.

Ada is one of the dolphins in the world to have been successfully impregnated in captivity.

In 2019, I became a temporary theme park photographer and started snapping the animals.

Ada, who lives in a pool, cannot see the ocean.

The Chinese white dolphins living in the sea are not always at ease either.

Dolphin statues were erected in many places in Hong Kong, standing on the shore. Look up at the statue. Try to slow down your gaze. See them broken, smiling, hollowed. He stands as a statue of something.

A silent and hardened dead body rests here, its meaning restrained.

USA, Hong Kong, and Japan.
